THE VEHICLE

The Cybercab fleet we plan to own.

The plan is to buy 3–4 of Tesla’s purpose-built Cybercabs and operate them locally when a commercial purchase path and Ohio approvals exist. No crowdsourced personal vehicles.

HOW IT STARTS

A better local ride starts with a signal.

  1. 01

    Tell us you’re interested.

Share a few basics so we can understand who wants a future autonomous ride.

  2. 02

    We map the demand.

ZIP codes and ride needs show us which local trips could benefit most.

  3. 03

    You hear what’s real.

We’ll email only when there’s meaningful progress or a useful local update.

WHAT IS A CYBERCAB?

A two-seat electric taxi designed to drive itself.

01 / BUILT FOR AUTONOMY

No human driver required

Cybercab is typically built without a steering wheel or pedals. Tesla identifies it as a Level 4 vehicle designed to handle the full driving task in Autonomous Mode.

02 / REQUEST

Call your ride from an app

Tesla’s current Robotaxi service lets riders choose a destination, review the estimated fare and wait time, confirm a pickup, and start the ride from the app.

03 / ON BOARD

Ride controls stay within reach

Follow trip progress, adjust climate and media, contact support, or request a safe pull-over using the app or cabin touchscreen.

Tesla’s current Robotaxi fleet uses Model Y vehicles; Cybercab is planned for future rides. Independent purchase availability and Ohio launch timing have not been announced. Cybercab design and autonomy ↗ · Full Cybercab guide ↗

THE HONEST FAQ

Good questions deserve direct answers.

Is your robotaxi service available now?

No. We’re planning a locally owned fleet of 3–4 Cybercabs, but independent purchase and Ohio operation are not currently available to us.

Does joining reserve a ride?

No. It signs you up for updates and helps us understand local demand. It is not a reservation, preorder, or guarantee of service.

Are you part of Tesla?

No. 614 Robotaxi is an independent local project and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Tesla, Inc.

What vehicles do you plan to operate?

We plan to purchase and locally operate 3–4 Tesla Cybercabs. We are not planning to use personal Teslas or vehicles owned by other people.

Can you buy a Cybercab today?

Not through Tesla’s current fleet-ordering program. The plan depends on a legitimate independent commercial path and all required Ohio approvals.
